Fruition

"Mom, don't forget to put it on the fridge," Jackson said as he made his way up the stairs to bed (for the fifth time). Jackson had drawn another piece of art -this time a colorful house with a tree, that needed to be displayed. You see, if Jackson's artwork means anything to us, or him, it belongs on the fridge. Our refridgerator has become a sacred space for displaying all kinds of artwork and accomplishments, something Jackson has obviously picked up on. I don't mind so much because at least the artwork covers up the fingerprints and smudges that would be occupying that space anyway.
But for the first time, Greg has created something fridge-worthy, something to rival the masterpieces mostly dominated by Jackson.
Enter Bengay Cold Therapy.
When Greg began as an intern for Johnson & Johnson in 2009, he was placed on a project to develop a new product idea for Bengay. So he spent all summer developing a new idea. A lot of intern projects get shelved and gather dust, but Greg's ideas gained momentum after he left.
This one went from his brain to the science labs at J&J, and now can be seen on store shelves near you! Well, just Walgreens for now...others coming soon :).
So to commemorate this event, we put the box on the fridge. We are all so proud. Except Jackson is a little miffed that Greg is infringing on his display space.

VERY awesome! Way to go Greg. I always love it when you can actually SEE what people do at work since I like to just pretend to go to work for the sake of work. Definitely fridge worthy! and I like the byu sweatshirt too!
also, a belly/baby update would be nice :)

Congrats Greg! That's exciting. I'll have to go buy one to put on my pantry door "shrine". Sort of makes me wish I had a cold so that I could use the product as well as display it!

Nice job Greg! You always were an overachiever. :) I bet all those other interns see this and feel like losers.

Awesome, Greg! Is it your chemistry background that let to the development of this product?

Sharon, It's not for colds, cold therapy just refers to the fact that it uses a cold sensation instead of hot...like a cold pack instead of a heating pad.
Greg chose the name Freeze Gel, which was changed to Cold therapy, so Greg can be cleared of any name confusion!
